Library and Archives Canada's free database of attestation and enlistment forms apparently contains 622679 images. And this is meant as the index to the files, only a few of which are on-line. The LAC free index/database is a great example of one of LAC's past amazing co-operative community projects, as young students did the original work in 1999-2000 as part of an LAC/Industry Canada’s Digital Collections project.
