The Lennox-Addington Museum/Archives has opened in Napanee, Eastern Ontario, not far from the city of Belleville.
Recently, Jane MacNamara, a member of the Toronto Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society and a blogger, has been there, and gives us a real good tour of the facility in her blog
Where the Story Take Me at
http://wherethestorytakesme.ca/lennox-addington-archives/
When you visit, you will see “themed exhibits, a modern reading room, genealogical research opportunities as well as regularly scheduled programming and special events about a wide variety of topics”.
If you have ancestors in this county, you should carefully read both her blog and the site of the museum/archives at
http://www.lennox-addington.on.ca/museum-archives.html
